Reflexiones by Matthias Heiderich

I told you before about Berlin based and self-taught photographer Matthias Heiderich. He says his primary interest is in architecture and the many possibilities of photographically representing buildings. I love his style and find his photos very inspiring (which might not come as a surprise if you know that I like concrete/architecture/geometrical shapes, present in most of his photos). Below are some photos of his new series Reflexiones.

My own Stutterheim!

Stutterheim Raincoats. Swedish melancholy at its driest, to battle the forces of nature in style. Using the finest craftsmanship, materials and details, the Stutterheim Arholma is described as a state of the art version of the traditional raincoat worn by generations of Swedish fishermen. It is hand sewn and each coat is individually numbered and signed by its seamstress. A companion for life. I am ready for the rain! :-)

In search of... a floor lamp

We need: a floor lamp. Because: we want to be able to read when we sit on our couch. So.. where to find one? I've actually found a couple of pretty ones, but we haven't decided yet which one suits best (a) our house and (b) our budget. Going for appearance, which one of the lamps below do you like most?
